VALLEY OF ENTELLA COUNCILS’ POOL (GENOA PROVINCE)
The ReteMet instruments are operating even in the rainiest Liguria valleys; a set of UNI reliable rain gauges (No. 11452:2012) are placed in the area of Casali in the Borzonasca district at 515m a.s.l., at San Siro Foce in the Mezzanego district at 480 m a.s.l. and at Pontori in the Ne district at 435m a.s.l. The hydrometric level of thewell-known Sturla water stream is monitored at Borgonovo (Mezzanego district), whereas a second hydrometer is operating in the Garibaldo valley to check the sudden floods of namesake tributary water stream flowing into the Graveglia river to protect the urban centre of Conscenti. Acoustic and light alarms are also positioned in this area and in the Vignolo village (Mezzanego district).
