The fierce northerly winds on the outlet of the Nimbalto valley may represent a problem for the mooring and for port operations; therefore, the Loano marina decided to install an anemometer placing it at the top of the tower of the Yacht Club (YCML – Yacht Club Marina Loano) which organized the alert notifications on exceeding pre-established thresholds of wind intensity.
Through the Navimeteo Harbour service, the technical staff and guests of the marina will be kept informed on the weather forecast and on any critical marine weather condition affecting the area in question.
In addition to the standard equipment supplied, the client is supported by the Navimeteo Harbour service. In fact, the port receives weather bulletins on a daily basis and specific alerts for the local area, spreading the marine weather information by means of a range of media channels.
